Light post shadows cast around

Gather around the beautiful tree

And visualize the children jumping with glee

as the big fat man sets down the toys

giving all the little children joy   

as the wrapping paper gets torn apart

 he added happiness in their heart

Thump thump on the roof

It’s probably a reindeer hoof

He slides down the chimney with toys for you

And gifts for other children too

And when your parents kiss you goodnight

Santa clause takes off in flight

To deliver little gifts with care

To kiss your mother and maybe even have an affair

Talking to the President. 

Authors note: If you could set off on an adventure back in time and talk to one of America’s founding fathers who would you  choose to verbalize with.

At a square table the founding fathers sit, with feather quills in their hands ready to sign the Constitution , the quills dry the ink well as each  feathered pen is dipped in slowly. The first name to be signed on the page read ,George Washington. Why was he the first name to sign you ask? because He started the United states from the beginning. That is why I would share my conversation with him.

George Washington Had very high confidence and fought for what he believed in. I bet you everyone in the world would want to know one simple piece of evidence as to how he did it. Most people act like the fearless person who’s not afraid to go for it. But in reality going for it is their greatest fear . I would want to know how this wasn’t an obstacle for him. Because  it definitely is for me. I act like I have  all of the assurance in the world  However I don’t .

Not only would I ask him about his confidence But his determination too.

 He somehow had the will power to not only engage in war but to defeat the strongest enemy. George Washington knew no fear and  each time came out triumphant. I believe that George Washington had to overcome many fears to step up to such a position would  cause me the most anxiety. George must have held a tremendous amount of weight on his shoulders not only being president but a general and the Most important man in the united states. I wouldn't talk to him just about his problems that he had to face. but also  how he earned respect  and trust From so many people , that is the thing I need the most .

Without George Washington we may not be where we are today ,Whether it  washis endless confidence or his  extreme determination. George Washington made everyone see the world differently and we will continue to see it differently forever. 

Pretty Girls with an Ugly Secret

Authors Note : This is a cause and effect about  the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard.


Everyone knows Alison Dilaurentis as the popular girl, the Queen Bee, and the “nicest” person you will ever meet and the worst. Alison has 4 best friends; Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily. Even though they bring out the best in her, Alison brings out the ugliest side of her friends when she goes missing; leaving her friends go crazy while her corpse is rotting away in the woods. and it is no longer a missing person’s investigation but a murder .when  the group of girls find Alison’s body they all receive a text message at the same exact time, a text message pops up and reads.

I am still here you guys
and I know everything.

If anyone else found Alison’s body, besides Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily, it would change the whole effect because this is one of the most important events in the story. After finding Alison’s body, they continue to get text messages from “A”. They then start to question what had happened to their best friend. The main conflict ends here, so there is a start of a new one. Now they are speechless and don’t know whether to think that Alison, their fearless leader, is dead or alive.

Looking For Ghosts

Author's Note: his piece is a retelling of the Ghost of Graylock by Dan Poblocki. Look for what the story will do for the reader.

The wondrous Graylock Hall Mental Hospital had been abandoned and left untouched for 30 years which was supposed to be the best hospital in America. Neil Cady and his friends are prepared to take on the excruciating Graylock Hall. They will step on anyone or anything to get there and with batteries in Neil’s camera, he is going to take the chance to discover the hidden secrets in Graylock Hall. Will he make it out alive?

Top Thrill Dragster

Author’s Note:  Why are most people too terrified to undertake a rollercoaster―the almighty beast of theme parks?  It’s just because they haven’t considered the fact that rollercoasters can be amazing. Take a chance and try one because rollercoasters are America’s most favored teeth chattering thrill rides.  

About  4 years ago, my family and I went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. I was in third grade and ready to take on all of the skin crawling ‘coasters, but little did I know that I was going to take on one of the tallest, fastest ‘coasters in the world.

It all started on a sunny warm August day in Ohio when my family, friends and I were heading down to the theme park. We got in line for the biggest ride there “Top Thrill Dragster” which was the most extended line there, the line stretched all the way back to the Dip and Dots stand about  a quarter of a mile back.

About 2 hours later we were up at the front of the line I looked at my friend, Maddy, and said, “Are you ready?” She told me she wasn’t going on, so I said I was going to bring her a piece of the sky on my way back down . Maddy laughed and I slid into my seat, buckled my belt and held on for dear life!

The coaster moved along to the front of the track and stopped at a set of stoplights . The lights went from red to yellow to green; at that point I knew that there was no turning back, I was on the rollercoaster blasting high up into the atmosphere.

The rollercoaster was going 120 miles per hour! It slowed down when we reached the top of the hill; we were so high I felt like I could eat the clouds as if they were cotton candy. We started to roll down the slope plummeting towards the earth. Reaching the station again I knew I had made the right choice of going on this extreme thrill ride.

It was the best thing I had ever accomplished and now I am able to say that I have been on the tallest fastest ride in the world.

 

Spectacular segway adventure

Are you aware of what a segway is ? a segway is a scooter like gadget that mall cops and officers use around special areas. It has a handlebar an  wheels you operate it by leaning forward and backwards you turn by pushing the handlebars to the side of your body which you would like to turn to.  Friend  Me and my friend  McKenna recently went on a segway adventure of our own .

It was a slightly cold day in August, McKenna and I were waiting for my grandma to pick us up to approach the airport ( where our train was picking us up)  and finally my grandma had arrived .

We grabbed our things and sprinted halfway down the driveway to her car and got inside .I slammed the car door shut and we proceeded on our journey to the airport . first my grandma had to pick up her friend so we picked her up and left .

When we got to the airport my grandma paid for parking and determinately  the adventure had just started .  what I didn’t know is that it had yet to begin , e hopped on the plane and wandered to the café car part of the train where they would occasionally serve meals to the passengers riding for a long traveling periods . so McKenna and I sat down at the tables and started to talk. Soon enough the train had achieved maximum speed and then we started our movie  about an hour and a half later the train stopped and we dismounted the café car and  caught a cab to the segway place.

We appeared right on time and  grabbed a helmet and a segway . we were instructed to walk down a hill so we could be trained how to use the segways  I went first the training session was rather easy the instructor turned on our segways and told us to step up on them while lightly griping the handle bar

Then she said to lean forward and turn and after that we were done and could roam the garden  willingly until everyone has been trained so McKenna and I zipped around the garden. I hope to do t

And then the tour started and we traveled  around the city of Chicago  for 3 hours nothing really interesting  happened within the tour and then we decided to go home the adventure itself was pretty amazing  and I hope to do it again soon , although the tour taught me nothing it was the experience of a lifetime.

Summer Breeze

Summer breeze blowing through the grass
whirling my hair in every direction.
I will be working on my summer tan

Without hurting my complexion

Summer warmth hugs me,
Every time I walk out the door.
We can finally use the A.C

It was a summer night at the park.
There was a soft breeze on that warm summer night.
While at the park they saw stars covering the sky.
When you are at a park you would usually see green from trees and bushes.
If you have have ever been to a park at night you would probably see bats eating mosquitos.
This park was full of everygreens and dead trees and weeping willows.
This girl wante to see and or talk to her crush and he was in her brothers room.

“Jimmy it is Time for bed” ,said his mother “come on just one mo”no jimmy it is time for bed go  
to your room and get to sleep“ she said cutting jimmy off. Jimmy walks up the stairs and the beams underneath them creak causing jimmy to jump. but he thought nothing of it and went back to his room upstairs.Jimmy opened up his door and attempted to sleep. he closed his eyes and and opened them he tossed and turned until he was comfy but nothing worked.then about a half hour later he was sound asleep . Jimmy’s mom came in to kiss him good night and then went to sleep as well. jimmy awoke from his sleep he an his mom had just had a fight and he didnt say he loved her he had a dream he was being chased by monkeys then the monkeys tangled him up with the vines untill he turned blue the next morning he never woke up his mom found him hung above his bed with his sheets he had died in the dream and real life

Voices

Do you hear the voices? Calling your name, telling you that you’re not worth it, and that you should just die already. In the book “Deadly little voices” by Laurie Faria Stolarz that is the exact case. These voices keep eating at the main character camellia and these voices go so far camellia might end up dead. It might be the fact that she has a bad conscience if you have a bad conscience try to change it or just don’t listen.

While most people think that telling yourself you can’ do something is part of a bad conscience it isn’t all picture having a bad conscience as a 100 lbs. sack of flour on your shoulder you can either use your strength and stick a knife in it to take out half of the weight or you can let it get heavier and heavier every time it is bad to you what would you do?

A bad conscience isn’t the only thing that could be triggering camellia’s voices. These voices could be part of a reoccurring nightmare maybe it is about something she’s afraid of…scientists proved that nightmares are a source of fear and are easily reactivated by a recent trauma maybe she had something unpleasant happening to her

While nightmares can’t be the only obstacle maybe someone is trying to tell her something she doesn’t know, now you see in the book camellia is reading her Bizarre mental aunt’s diary and her aunt doesn’t know maybe these dreams are trying to piece together her aunts problems all of the things that these voices are saying probably have something to do with her aunts life.

And who knows it might not be nightmares the real problem is camellia herself maybe she is making a difficult decision and made the wrong choice

Whether the problem is a bad conscience, low self esteem or nightmares no matter what is causing the voices try to change your conscience or don’t listen.

Alaska's Wildlife Is At Sake

 authors note : in alaska they have a place just for the wild life no drilling onr anything well that is about to change lets stop it while we can.

 

If the United States has a problem with oil availability, why shouldn't we take advantage of all our options? We could drill or we could save the wildlife I believe we should not drill.

                                                                       A recent U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) assessment says there is "considerable uncertainty regarding both the size and quality of the oil resources that exist in ANWR." Even if 7.7 billion barrels a day could be recovered (as estimated in one government study), "the current upper limit to ANWR oil production is the transportation capacity of TAPS" (Trans Alaska Pipeline System), or 2.136 million barrels per day. To put this in context, the U.S. burns 21 million barrels per day.

 

There is not enough oil in Alaska to solve the problem. There is so much more oil in OPEC nations that they need only tweak supply to wipe out any price savings from the small increase in supply that drilling in ANWR would produce. ANWR isn't our only option for domestic drilling. There are millions of acres already open to drilling where oil companies have not yet explored. As my Mom used to say, finish what's on your plate before you ask for seconds

 

The unemployment rate of the us is raising daily it isn’t good but even though it would create more jobs the economy is still going downhill no matter what don’t waste all of this money and say it will lower gas prices when it won’t.

 

Not only will this affect the economy it will also affect the wild life without taking into account changes in the Arctic brought on by global warming, and the agency proposed

insufficient protections for polar bears, walrus, whales, and other species that could be harmed by drilling rigs or spills,

 

The number one thing to worry about is how it will affect us the people we need oil for our regular day lives but if it costs too much                                                                       

 

 

people will stop using cars and then car companies will go out of business people will lose more jobs causing the unemployment rate  to skyrocket through the ceiling and the average person doesn’t want to lose their job so

I think it is a no brainer we should not drill in Alaska .

ou can’t know someone all the way. They can have secrets & be a totally different person than you thought they were. You have to know a person really well or you don't know that they might not be who you think they are. People aren't always obvious and can be sneaky. In the book series Pretty Little Liars By Sara Shepard is an amazing novel about secret keeping. But no matter what someone will find out what you are hiding.

Imagine you are in middle school and you just had your first end of the year sleep over and your best friend just vanished with no trace left behind and a year later you find out she was murdered. What would you do?

While the average person would tell everyone how it happened, but that’s not how it works you keep your secrets and everyone else keeps theirs if you don’t like it tough luck that’s how it has to be. If you tell your secrets you are D.O.N.E, done because rumors spread way too quickly to stop.

Don’t tell a secret if you can’t keep it little lies turn into bigger lies and if someone finds out you are not telling the truth they will do anything they can do ruin your life forever

There is always going to be someone like that creeping through your life finding every little secret about you and if you aren’t careful they will publish it to the world

If you are going to keep it don’t make it obvious keep it to yourself if you tell it is your choice but don’t tell if you don’t want to

And in the end when it all goes down don’t say anything about it let it go and you will get better but secrets are the highlight of life some are good some are bad but without them our world would be the most boring place on earth. So keep your secrets

What’s your secret? Everybody has a secret in the book Deadly little secrets by Laurie Faria Stolarz and it is a secret that is hard to handle; is something very complicated. The holder of this secret  might even end up dead. In this novel the author clearly states that If you have a secret don’t let anyone find out,and if they do deny everything.

In this book the author developed a special gift that I don’t think exists in real life it is called Psychometry .Psychometry very rare it is the power to see the future through touch or contact of any person or object. it seems really interesting. Since I have no evidence of it being real I can’t say whether this ability is real or just imaginary.

I dont understand how this character can live with such an amazing and increadible ability and hide it from the world . i mean i understand how he doesnt want to touch anyone ever .but no matter what you will always bump into someone sooner or later.

this book reminds me of another book i have read called Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard both of these books are alot alike fromthe story plot line and the ending .  they both grabbed my attention from the second i read the first sentance.

 This author has a lot of skill to be able to write a four book series along with doing her everyday things .Laurie Faria Stolarz has done an outstanding job with this book. it kept me reading nonstop as if my eyes were glued to the page. this book is amazing for its quality I would have never noticed this amazing book if it weren’t for a magazine I read.

While I was reading I stumbled upon many words that I didn’t know but when I heard them in a sentence I figured out what they meant this is an incredible series and many things are more clear to me because if you had a secret like this you would be feeling scared or maybe even wierd so i dont blame this guy for keeping it a secret

so i am remarkably happy i have read this book but i will always remember one thing
" two can keep a secret if one of them is dead" from the pretty little liars series

my favorite quotes

Authors note : I have alot of quotes that make up my life but i have a few that will always make me smile.

now this quote is my favorite because it just makes me happy

the reason i like it is because it is sweet and funny and it makes me wonder how people come up with such cute quotes

I also like this one because i happen to be single and it is really cute any of those quotes that when you read make you say awwwwwww

A Christmas present in the making

Authors note:

I am a necklace and it is a pretty interesting story of how I got to my owner there were multiple different possible ways that I could have made an appearance but I think this way will help you understand.

So the story is I was born in a necklace factory in Oklahoma and they polished me up and put some really pretty rock like thing into the holes in my string they attatched them with a hot fiery thing . they nearly turned me into flames  so the process was painfull but it was worth it .

Later on the factory wrapped me up in bubble wrap and shipped me off to Wisconsin

But they dint let me use the little necklace room or anything they made me sit there for 5 hours doing nothing It was really boring  just sitting there doing nothing at all

Well after about 45 minutes later that was done and there I went into a box and was closed inside and wrapped up with a cute little bow on top

Maybe my wish had come true maybe I was going to be a Christmas present for someone special

 And soon enough I was opened the person opened up the box and smiled a huge grin

It was a little girl about 9 maybe 10 years old she looked so happy and she said thank you mom thank you dad

And she came and picked me up and said  I will never let you go

An amazing feeling rushed through my body sending tingles up my chain that feeling was that I finally belonged to someone, someone really special and close to my heart.

My favorite songs are the ones with all of the emotion behind it the ones that direct you to exactly the feeling  the singer was feeling .

If I had to choose my favorite song in the world I don’t think I could do it Because every song is wonderful and music is the beast part of life. So if there wasn’t music we might as well be blind.
