Pretty Girls with an Ugly Secret

Authors Note : This is a cause and effect about  the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard.


Everyone knows Alison Dilaurentis as the popular girl, the Queen Bee, and the “nicest” person you will ever meet and the worst. Alison has 4 best friends; Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily. Even though they bring out the best in her, Alison brings out the ugliest side of her friends when she goes missing; leaving her friends go crazy while her corpse is rotting away in the woods. and it is no longer a missing person’s investigation but a murder .when  the group of girls find Alison’s body they all receive a text message at the same exact time, a text message pops up and reads.

and I know everything.

If anyone else found Alison’s body, besides Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily, it would change the whole effect because this is one of the most important events in the story. After finding Alison’s body, they continue to get text messages from “A”. They then start to question what had happened to their best friend. The main conflict ends here, so there is a start of a new one. Now they are speechless and don’t know whether to think that Alison, their fearless leader, is dead or alive.

Looking For Ghosts
